Client Testimonials & Praise Reports

#1 - Client Service Testimony
Our goal at the PCC is to meet each client right where they are and provide help and hope through Christ. This message is life changing and life saving! Most recently, we had a young adult come into the center for pregnancy testing with needs of substance abuse treatment. This lady has been severely abused emotionally, mentally, and physically. Shelters are limiting and/or denying admittance due to the COVID-19 restrictions and she needed resources. The client had a negative test, but shared she has two other children not able to be with her due to her drug use. We were able to share the love of Christ that is available and connect her with some resources for residential treatment that provide discipleship programs. Although this client has not made a decision to go to a residential facility yet, we have been a source of safety and hope in her dark and scary world. We LISTEN and pray for discernment. We pray for "the hard ones" to enter our door, for God to lead them here versus an abortion clinic. We love opportunities to share the hope and love commended to them through Christ our Lord and Saviour. We know Christ is able! Sometimes, oftentimes, we are just seed planters, but we know God's word does not return void. This young lady had heard the Salvation message before, but still struggled with the reality that God could love her after all she has done. I shared, "If God can love me, he can love you, I promise." God is faithful and we ask you to pray without ceasing for this special client and others who are in the most difficult situations. - Karla

#2- Male Testimony
In a previous newsletter, I shared the success of one of our male clients who had completed all 12 Dadhood classes and earned a graduation gift. The client reluctantly participated in the classes “Setting Goals,” “Budgeting 101,” and “Landing the Job.” It was a sensitive area for him because he had never experienced much success in these areas and, consequently, felt like a failure. Through the encouragement of his male mentor, he learned to apply the wonderful concepts he learned to his own situation to enable him to not only land a job, but retain the job, and even be promoted to the position of store manager. With his permission, I am sharing his personal Facebook testimony where he tagged his male mentor and others who helped him along the way. To God be the Glory!
